This is pure Coupland. Quirky and always fun to read, even if you're not so sure about the story he's trying to tell...
As usual Coupland deals with the issues of morality and in some indirect sense asks God, "Why exactly are we here?"
Plus he's Canadian, and his characters are Canadians and I like having a Canadian scenario going on in my head.
