A wonderful read. I'm just about finished, and planning on starting a ring with this one. I'll journal more thoughts soon.

I've just gotten my hands on Ellen's latest DVD, a loaner, so I'm going to see whether or not I can get it onto a VHS (no DVD burner yet...) and send it along with the book. I'm thinking it can still go media mail.
Of course I found this book hilarious. A bit better than the first book, My Point, and I Do Have One. Perhaps because I bought an audiocassette of Ellen's standup, and the book just seemed like the tape transcribed. :( I'm a little bit nervous that the DVD I have will be the same way, as Ellen does write about her tour in this book.
She is as poignant and as silly as ever, but leaves you wanting more until the last page. I work as a telemarketer, and was reading the book between calls (If you have ever read Ellen, you'll understand how this is possible). Ellen really does make me laugh out loud, and my colleagues around me didn't quite get how phone service could be so funny...
Interestingly, Ellen had a sailor shirt too, (see comments about sailor shirts and other clothing here)
I'd highly recommend this book and anything else branded "Ellen". :)

Sweet....funny but not quite my taste in humor. I prefer the sarcasm of David Sedaris or the political outrageousness of Molly Ivins. Thanks for sharing and now posting to the next bxer in line....
I have been an Ellen fan for years. I cannot wait to read her latest book. Thanks for making this a ring mrsordonez!
I really enjoyed this. But as I said I have been an Ellen fan for years. I was certainly not disappointed. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Anderal has been generous enough to add the participants from this ring to his. Pm him (her?) if interested.
