Haven't read it yet, but here is a note from the Daily Telegraph on the book:
"A terrifying book: I ca'n think of no other in which fear of an unknown evil strikes with greater chill".

Sent it as a surprise RAOBK to a fellow BC'er and I see she already got it :-)
Enjoy it!

Hello Kislany, your surprise arrived today =) ! By the way, lovely note ;-). Like I said before, this was really kind of you, a BIG Thank You from this side of Europe all the away to the Mediterranean... ** & hugs for such a nice RABCK, with my best wishes to you!
I'll start reading it as soon as possible, since I'm between a couple of BC books at the moment! I've seen the movie some years ago and I really liked it, I like the Occult theme very much. It was quite an interesting movie to me because it was made in the late 60's and it's not the kind of movie I would expect being made on those days... Well, enough talk for now. I'm giving a few details on this book and it's plot in this journal entry... Hope you don't mind!
From Amazon.com:
Book Description: The young couple. The new neighbors. The suicide. The amulet. The doctor. The herbs. The anagram. The baby. Rosemary's Baby. In 1967, when Rosemary's Baby was first published, Ira Levin's masterpiece gave horror an innocent new face. It caused a worldwide sensation, found fear where we never thought to look before, and dared to bring it into the sunlight. Now, Rosemary's Baby is back to terrify a whole new generation of readers.
(...) What if you were a happily married young woman, living in New York, and one day you awoke to find yourself pregnant? And what if your loving husband had--apparently--sold your soul to Satan? And now you were beginning to believe that your unborn child was, in reality, the son of Satan? Levin subtly makes it all totally plausible, unless of course, dear Rosemary--or the reader--can no longer distinguish fantasy from reality! A wonderfully chilling novel, it was later faithfully transformed into an equally unnerving motion picture."
