At first, I didn't think too much of this book. The Thief Lord's secreat was too easy to figure out. But that secret is actually revealed early on in the book, and the plot really picks up and becomes exciting. And I always love a happy ending.

Good book- I enjoyed it, but a younger child would probably like it better. I'm working on getting my little sister to read it!
