I went in to Diva's for a meeting and left with a book I've always wanted to read under my arm. I am looking forward to delving in and when I am done, I will pass it on. This is such a great and generous idea!

This book is certainly absorbing, although not great literature. It is curious and remarkable that the inner feeling life of a giesha is, sucessfully, portrayed by a man. I hadn't read a novel in a long time and it held my attention in that lovely way that good books do. I especially enjoyed the scenes with the details about make up and dressing in a kimona--quite an art!

I passed it on to a friend who read it in ONE EVENING!

Now, its time to be released. I haven't decided where yet, but thinking about the possbilites are fun. I hope to place it somewhere tomorrow...............

wow, i really like this book. I being a younger person was especially influenced by the thoughts and experiences of an adolescent going through such a hard life. it was capturing and i thought it well written.
a very interesting book.
