A Dark Adapted Eye

Synopsis
No onlooker would guess that Vera Hillyard and her beautiful sister, Eden, were locked in a dark and bitter combat over a family secret. England in the 1950's was not kind to women who erred, so they had to fight it out behind closed curtains, using every weapon they had. In this case, murder.

Going into Perpetual Motion Bookbox
Taken from Redhouse's perpetual bookbox.

Holy cow have only just started to read this... bit unsure at first, felt a bit "thrown in at the deep end" with the way characters were just dropped into the text with no introduction - only finding out who they are and their relation to others on the next page (or two)... however I am thinking/ hoping that it's going to be worth sticking with.
