"Christopher Boone is fifteen years old and has asperger's syndrome. he knows a very great deal about maths and very little about human beings. he loves lists, patterns and the truth. he hates the colours yellow and brown, and being touched. he has never gone further than the end of the road on his own. but when he finds a neighbour's dog murdered he sets out on a terrifying journey which will turn his whole world upside down"
told in the first person, from the point of view of christopher himself, this book is a perceptive insight into the mind of an asperger's syndrome sufferer, where order and routine are paramount in attempts to make sense of an otherwise chaotic and incomprehensible world. christopher is a very realistic character, and his story is at times sad but for the most part funny without being patronising or insulting.
highly recommended. winner of the whitbread novel of the year award.

This really is a great book. I love the logic of the main character, who is so believeable. I am going to release this book in the next week or so.
