told in the first person, from the point of view of christopher himself, this book is a perceptive insight into the mind of an asperger's syndrome sufferer, where order and routine are paramount in attempts to make sense of an otherwise chaotic and incomprehensible world. christopher is a very realistic character, and his story is at times sad but for the most part funny without being patronising or insulting.

highly recommended. winner of the whitbread novel of the year award.

Received book from Miss Bagpuss who kindly agreed to send it to me after i spotted it on her bookshelf. Have yet to read but looking forward to reading it and releasing on its travels again...

This really is a great book. I love the logic of the main character, who is so believeable. I am going to release this book in the next week or so.
