"A hunting we will go, a hunting we will go, hey ho a derrio, a hunting we will go!"
Gotcha! Saw innerkitty's release come up on email just as I was getting mid afternoon peckish, so on the pretence (oops) of getting something to eat, nipped out and went hunting....
Went to look for the Stork book too left in DJs, but it was gone :-( even though I asked at the tills if it had been handed in.
So, as I approached the pet shop, i noticed a lady sitting opposite and thought darn it, it's probably gorn. But no! There it was, just the other side of her on a little wall - i wonder if she had seen it, or what she thought when i just went up to it and yoinked it away!? Or, was that you, innerkitty, setting up to see the hunter?!
Thanks for a bit of fun on a Friday afternoon, I hope your other book is found.

Taking to a mini-meet-up on Saturday morning.
I dont think with the amount of books on Mt TBR that I would be able to do this book justice, so off it goes into the wild, per the name!

Started reading this book a couple of days ago... I was not aware such schmaltz existed outside Mills & Boon novels!
"The bliss Sam felt was suddenly familiar. He was a little boy spinning in circles iwth his arms raised to the trees. Memories of childhood joy blossomed inside him, as if they had been waiting for this moment. He sensed a similar remembrance in Lindy. This was what she had dreamed of and prayed for when she was running and flying and never coming back: love rising like a fountain inside her, vanquishing the doom. She would risk anything for that, Sam knew. It was all that mattered. In this clarity, they hovered for what seemed like a long time."
Excuse me while I retch.
And this was written by a MAN! I wouldn't have thought it possible!!
I think I'll put this back on the bookshelf for a while - I'm not quite ready to give up on it yet, but I think I'm reeeally not in the mood for it at the moment. :o)
