Funny book, with a smattering of the angst (I'm told) you get when you become 45. A really good read (and for those who don't know, Bill Drummond was a member of the KLF - 'Last Train To Trancentral', 'Justified And Ancient' (with Tammy Wynette) and one of the blokes who went to Scotland and set fire to a million pounds.

Ok...the challenge is I read a book from Gothmarcus and like it alot. He palmed off the Pete Waterman book and I didn't care for it much...he says this is different...but we shall see!!!! Mwah ha ha!
What started out as a bit of a boring book finished on a real high for me. A lovely, random collection of stories from Bill Drummond's unique life. ONce I got used to his style of writing and storytelling, I really enjoyed his reflection on the high and low points of his life to mark his 45th birthday.
I wasn't as interested in the earlier stuff about Teardrop Explodes & echo and the Bunnymen although there were some interesting bits. It was the later stuff about the KLF and other sections from that era that really captured my imagination and made me chuckle out loud on a few occasions.
BIll Drummon has a really dry sense of humour and his writing style is really refreshing.
Thanks for the chance to read this fascinating book.
