I really enjoyed this book now offering it as a book relay

Journal Entry 2 by dospescados on Tuesday, August 16, 2005
This book was sent to me by sleone of Oakland, CA via bookrelay. She left a note in it that says...

"I cannot remember who I received this book from. I cannot get the original BCID to work so I have re-registered it as 795-3122422."

I looked thru the book and found this (correct) BCID in light pencil in the back cover. The BC label on the front has an incorrect BCID of 119-1704322.

To say this is a strange and interesting story is an understatement. Hard to believe that this is really a memoir as many of the events happened during the author's childhood. I did enjoy reading it and plan to read the sequel, DRY, too. Sending this off as a bookray. Looking forward to hearing what others in the bookcrossing community think about this one.

What a crazy, crazy life. I'm glad I had the opportunity to read it, but it certainly makes me appreciate my normal, boring upbringing. :)

I will PM livrecache and have this book on its' way asap.

Journal Entry 11 by silvia-pco from Murtosa, Aveiro Portugal on Tuesday, July 31, 2007
This is an amazing book.I thought it would be soemhow boring, but it is really funny. Sometimes it's really hard to believe this is a memoir, each event is stranger that the other one :)

I'll PM cross-patch. Thanks for sharing!

I nearly gave up on this one - and then I 'got it'. What a life, and what an unusual person it moulded.

Going off to Salford next.

What an unusual and in some parts disturbing childhood. I liked Burrough's style and found this easy to read. I'll be on the lookout for the follow up 'Dry'.

PRCS has asked to be skipped from the ray. I'll get the book in the post to CynthiaA today. Sending surface for cost and Cynthia has a few books to read already :)

Journal Entry 16 by CynthiaA from Brantford, Ontario Canada on Wednesday, December 19, 2007
Arrived! Was beginning to wonder about this one. I won't be able to get to this one until after Christmas. I'm a bit swamped at the moment. I'll be quick through it though.

Recieved this in the mail as part of a book ring. Have three others in front of this but will try & read as quickly as I can. Thanks for the bookmark!

Journal Entry 18 by spoiledrotten from Waldwick, New Jersey USA on Wednesday, March 26, 2008
Wow! I can't say I found this book funny, but it was definitely interesting! It is really hard to believe, and sad, that this is a true story of someone's life. Not sure if I still want to see the movie that recently was made. If it is offered as a ring I will most likely read the sequel "Dry". Thanks for including me and I hope to wild release this soon.
