I've read three Maeve Binchy books and enjoyed them all. She seems to know people so well you feel like you are invading the charachters' privacy with the intimate peak at their lives.

This book is about an Italian evening class in Dublin and how the lives of the teacher and students in the class intersect.

Very fun to read - makes you want to go to Ireland and Italy!
