Catlore: Tales from Around the World
3 journalers for this copy...
A nice little collection of cat-related tales from around the world. I thought the writing was a little one-dimensional, but it would make a great bedtime book for kids. The illustrations are nice, too.

I liked the intro of this book...the gist of which was that often, these folk stories say more about us than they do about cats.
My fave was "The Magic Ring".
And I liked the ending of "A place to live".

Catlore from Africa, China & Korea, England, Russia, Germany, Burma, Israel, Greece, Sweden, USA, Italy & Japan.
I loved A Place to Live, which ends thus: 'And so to this day, you can usually find one of His cats eating and sleeping in the sunny kitchen of a kind-hearted woman.'
