A fast-paced prequel to such great series! Chapters were just the right length and thankfully the plot was without any cringe-inducing love scenes (Kava's books have been published by a mushy romance publishing house..). Perfect summer read!

Maggie O'Dell books surely deserve more reading, so off to another fan!
