This was a good book, but I did not like the ending. I won't spoil it for you because you might like the ending! The book gave an inside look at Amish life and customs. I found it entertaining, and informative.

It kind of dragged on and on, but overall it was pretty good. I'm sending it to sweetpea0678.

Sent on to Amaradevinmom. Enjoy!!
received today. Will read and get back out.
This is the 3rd Picoult book I have read and so far this one is my favorite. I learned quite a few things about the Amish as I didn't know much. The story was good and I actually liked the ending (I noticed someone else did not).
Thanks for sharing it with me.
Waiting for the address of the next person and then I will be shipping it off.

Received today - will get on it asap!
I really love Jodi Picoult! Her books are real - times when there is no "good" decision and people don't always live happily ever after.
I liked the ending although it did make me a bit mad!

Received this in the mail yesterday. I have two bookring books to finish and then this will be next.
I finished reading this yesterday and I really enjoyed it. Although, I didn't expect the ending and it was a bit disturbing. Ellie's wit and her relationship with Coop are what I enjoyed most about the book. I'm looking forward to the movie rerun-ing on Lifetime.
Sent today to Tantan in Australia.
Received in the mail today. This is a couple down on the pile, but I'll get to it as soon as I can.
This was I first Picoult novel, and I absolutely loved it! I did not see the ending coming, and I really appreciated the way the novel was wound up (I don't like unanswered questions! :-)). I appreciated the further insight into Amish life - I've always had an interest in the Amish, and while nothing portrayed in their lifestyle was new to me I did like Picoult's sensitive portrayal of them as a people. I will definitely be hunting up more books by Jodi Picoult in the future. I will be sending a PM now to Zapcat2003 to get his/her address.
My apologies for not journalling when I sent this. I posted this before the end of January by surface mail so it should be landing on Zapcat2003's doorstep pretty soon.
