I Am Legend
1 journaler for this copy...
Found in the Phone Box Book Exchange in Henton, Somerset, where I left three books. I enjoyed the 2007 film, which is an interesting, spooky kind of adventure. The cartoon clips that accompanied the film help build that atmosphere. This book, although it carries the branding of the film, is actually far older. Published in 1954, with a plot that is subtler and more complex, it explores some interesting themes and has an unusual ending. This is where I confess I have never read it: I got all that from Wikipedia! Don't look it up there if you don't want to know in advance what happens.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I am tempted to add this to my "to be read" stack because there are some fairly obvious points of contact with The Day of the Triffids, which I found so engrossing during the 2020 lockdown. But, sadly, that is such an enormous pile of books it just doesn't make sense to keep hold of it. I hope this travels widely, gives a lot of people enjoyment, and if I'm meant to read it that another copy comes my way at some point.
