Barrister and jockey Geoffrey Mason sees a client he is defending convicted - but since he believes him to be guilty he's pleased. However Trent is back on the scene before long... Meanwhile a fellow jockey is murdered with Mason's friend and champion jockey Steve Mitchell the prime suspect. I enjoy Dick Francis's books but I'm not sure that Felix has quite his Dad's panache.

Have not finished reading it. However I note that one problem with it is the choice of weapon used; it is unlikely to be that common in the UK as it is in the US.
