This copy was used for a class a number of years ago, but was never registered here. I am now lending it to a friend, so wanted to put a BCID in.
This has a different cover photo.
Here's what I wrote when I read it as a bookcrossing ring in August 2008:
Very well-written story of time travel and curiously entwined fates, not to mention insight into antebellum culture. The little time at "home" (in the 20th century) caused even more of a relentlessness I felt- no time for Dana to catch her breath, or even prepare other than hastily throw whatever convenient supplies were at hand into the denim bag - and grab for it while being yanked into the past. This contrasted with the careful preparation in The Doomsday Book, or even Claire's training as a doctor in the Outlander series, made Dana's impotence even starker. An excellent read, thanks so much for sharing.
