This is a modern western that I believe was a tv series though I never watched it. Having read this book I wish I had watched it because I thoroughly enjoyed it and think I'd also enjoy the tv show. As well as being a western, it is also a who-dun-it as there are two murders. The tale involves violence, guns, loneliness, mental health problems, addiction, racism, sexism, romance, friendship, loyalty, humour, animals and a touch of the supernatural. It also depicts the beautiful scenery and the troublesome weather. It's got everything. I'm now passing it to BIL.

BIL has now returned the book which he really liked and didn't guess the perpetrator, Wants me to add this author to our 'look out for in charity shops' list. The stars here are what he would give it.
