Journal Entry 1 by OrganisedChaos from Eastbourne, East Sussex United Kingdom on Sunday, May 23, 2004
A simple but effective way to teach young children colours and how the words describing them look. The book is made of fairly thick board and has the whole left page in a colour with the word for it in white. On the right side is Mary Ellen or Cameron telling the reader what colour the object shown is. For example: "The strawberry is red." The picture are clear and bright and the objects chosen to demonstrate the colours are ordinary and interesting enough for youngster.
