I read, and thoroughly enjoyed, the previous book in this little series," Plague" right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic!
This one was equally enjoyable and action packed.

I've enjoyed several of this author's historical romps and look forward to enjoying another one, a 17th century adventure at the time of the Great Fire of London. I also read Plague in the middle of the pandemic - also thanks to you!

A 17th century adventure that's well-researched, well-written and highly entertaining! It involves plots and conspiracies, assassination attempts on the life of King Charles II, 5th Monarchists, religious fantatics trying to hasten the Return of the King, the coming of Armageddon, sea battles with the Dutch - and that's even before start of the Great Fire that gives the novel its title . . .
Thanks again, Deltic. There was something fitting about reading this over the Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III!
