ABOUT
Meet the new neighbours. Whose side are you on?Sunday TimesThe People at Number 9Sara and Neil have new neighbours in their street. Glamorous and chaotic, Gav and Lou make Sara’s life seem dull. As the two couples become friends, sharing suppers, red wine and childcare, it seems a perfect couples-match. But the more Sara sees of Gav and Lou, the more she longs to change her own life. But those changes will come at a price

Interesting story that I’m sure we all could see ourselves as one of the characters or all of them at different times and situations in our lives. I would have gave this book am8 except I didn’t like the ending. I like my endings all tied up in books and real life. I will probably read more from this author in the future. Saving this for Cestmoi next time I see her.

I agree with Blackjax21, I think each character showed extremes of behaviour and personality but real people are more complex. Lou was manipulative and a user, and I think Gav (her husband) just fed off her and then Sara got caught up in their nonense. Poor Neil resisted but he too, got caught up in the craziness.

I think we have all met someone in our life who is at the extreme end of the spectrum but there is probably more to them than meets the eye.

I had little sympathy for any of them. Those kids though! My heart broke for Arlo and Zuley - and even Dash.

Picked up today from the Hamilton Bookcrossing meetup, partially because of the cool looking cover :)
