Bought this a while ago, and read it a while ago, but not long after I saw that a TV series was made based on the book, and (as always) the book was better, but they did a great job of portraying all the characters and the storyline.

Easily addicting, T.M. Logan totally knows how to grip the reader from the get-go. I was constantly guessing what had happened. I was eager to know what happened and how the story ended.

I wasn't disappointed at all and loved every moment of the book, I actually couldn't flip the pages quick enough, but it felt way too light - if that makes any sense. By willing the reader to get through the book as quickly as possible, quite a bit of detail is left out and some bits felt missed out or the opportunity to describe the scene was there but not taken - I don't know, it just felt like it was missing something.

Blurb: It was supposed to be the perfect holiday, dreamed up by Kate as the ideal way to turn 40: four best friends and their husbands and children in a luxurious villa under the blazing sunshine of Provence.

But there is trouble in paradise. Kate suspects that her husband is having an affair, and that the other woman is one of her best friends.

One of these women is willing to sacrifice years of friendship and destroy her family. But which one? As Kate closes in on the truth in the stifling Mediterranean heat, she realises too late that the stakes are far higher than she ever imagined.

Because someone in the villa is prepared to kill to keep their secret hidden.
