Caught today at Riddik Cafe. The lovely floral cover attracted my attention.

A marvelous read from Aussie Nigel Featherstone in which he charts gay history in Australia over several decades. It delves into weighty themes of family relationships, self acceptance, discovery and desire with uncompromising zeal. Well written and refreshingly forthright. Definitely worth reading.
I am planning to release this at the next Templestowe meetup.

Patrick has always considered himself a good son. Willing to live his life to please his parents, his sense of duty paramount to his own desires and dreams. An emotional book, somewhat sad but beautifully written.
