Hello, dear finder!

Please feel free to keep the book, or give it away to someone else. Thank you for taking the time to come to BookCrossing. I hope you'll enjoy the book!
I read this book in Dutch and I liked it a lot. I found this English copy in Brussels, and now I'm registering it so I can pass it on.
Enjoy! I sure did.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
My Review:
I am so happy Moem encouraged this into my hands! What an endearing book.
A grumpy, mischievous, and at times sarcastic, lovable narrator of a year in the life of (and general goings on in) a care home in Amsterdam.
Both amusing and sad. This book will stay on my mind for some time I believe.

Off in the mail to a fellow 666 challenger as a RABCK.

Received this as a RABK and it came at a time when I really could do with a bit of cheering up, so thank you. I am taking a trip to Wales to see some friends and will take this with me as it looks like something I will really enjoy and is light enough for me at the moment. That is covers Holland (I think) in the 666+ challenge is a bonus.

I really enjoyed most of it, however it did drag a little at times. It was both sad and happy and gave a real flavour of the challenges people in their 80's and 90's face on a daily basis, which can make it difficult to keep positive however much you want to. I particularly enjoyed the bits about the mobility scooters and the hazards they create to the rest of the world at times. It reminds me of a serious suggestion I saw in a Facebook forum in the UK which angrily stated that mobility scooters should be licenced and pay road tax.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Given to a friend who wanted it I doubt it will be journalled though

I met with m friend who I gave this book to today and she thanked me for the book and said she really enjoyed it and particularly enjoyed the fact that it was a realistic depiction of older life. She said it wasn't as good as the 100 year old man who climbed out of a window, so I have given it an 8. Not sure what she will do with this book next.
