Picked up an unregistered copy at the York BookCrossing meetup.
I remember seeing and enjoying the film version of this many years ago, but it seems to have been only loosely based on the book and I didn't really get the same enjoyment from reading it. The characters are mostly vile and despite the darkly humorous tone, I don't think I've been quite so depressed by a book as I was by this one. I also don't like the sexualised cover, but I suppose that's not the author's fault.
