The King's Speech
1 journaler for this copy...

A 2nd copy of this very good book. My husband's comments: "Historical non-fiction doesn't get any better than this. Little gems too - who knew A. Lincoln came up with 'he's not a burden...he's my brother'. See the movie - read the book - appreciate the monarchy for what it is....Logue's grandson has done his homework.....
My comments: "After seeing the film of the same name, I bet a whole lotta people are going to get interested in this era of UK history. The 1930's and 40's were world changing/world shattering. Also, the more you read about Edward and Wallis, the more you despise them and the more you love the Queen Mum and George VI!"
Definitely will pass along to Bucklesbook - a total UK history buff!
