This was such a hard book to get into. It really felt like a chore to keep reading it. It gave so many details of the characters in the beginning that were just a bit much. Then at the end when you expected more details and clarity you didn't get them. A few story lines like needing more altar boys and starting a football team could have been left out completely as it had nothing of value to the books main plot. It was a long drawn out drama that I could've lived without reading.
