A quick, easy read. Dr Kat Novak, is the assistant medical examiner and is concerned when 2 young women die of an overdose of a drug that is new, and no one knows nothing about. Then a young man dies of an overdose in hospital, and they get the details of the drug which is currently being developed by a pharmaceutical company in town, and she meets the owner of this company, Adam Quantrell, as he is looking for his step daughter. Someone from his lab has to be selling this drug to unsuspecting drug users, and Adam and Kim team up to find out who is running this ruse, and end up falling for each other.
