Great narrative non-fiction. This was the basis for the movie Gettysburg. One of the great stories is that the actor who played Joshua Chamberlin found out that his grandfather and great-uncle were both in the Iron Brigade at Gettysburg and were captured on the first day of the battle, both were sent to Andersonville and survived!
