I'm really glad I read this memoir. It gave me insight into the author's experiences working with Angela Lansbury on Murder, She Wrote, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Even better, he stays relatively true to that focus (with a few inevitable rabbit trails along the way) and has a good amount to say about the topic. This is in contrast to Tom Sawyer's memoir, which I read hoping for the same perspective but did not really get.
The book does suffer from a common shortcoming of many self-published books, namely the fact that it could have benefitted from the input of an editor and/or proofreader. This one does what it says on the tin, so those interested in the subject matter should find it to be an enjoyable and informative read.
