I like this author, her novels make a nice change from mystery and murder!
I am fascinated by WW2, for those of us not around then it is almost unbelievable how the people coped daily with such devastation and death while trying to work, feed and clothe their families. Would we be able to or has life been too easy for us?
I have learned so much about the ARP wardens, what a wonderful story.
