One of many books I purchased for $5/bag on the last day of the Friends of the Library book sale in Montrose, Colorado. I know this to be a good one, so I grabbed it for one of the Little Free Libraries in our area.
My original review from December 10, 2017:
I love books like this -- deep and wide research, deftly re-told, about subjects I haven't really delved into. In this case, it's the men who created one of the greatest World's Fairs in history, and the prolific serial killer working alongside it. Both are stories that need to be heard by the public -- and hopefully will some year when the Hollywood movie (reportedly starring Leonardo DiCaprio) finally gets made.
