One of many books purchased for $5/bag on the last day of the Friends of the Library book sale in Montrose, Colorado. I know this to be a good one, so I grabbed it for one of the Little Free Libraries in our area.
My original review from July 3, 2019:
I love books like this, written by an insider who's willing to tell the truth about a situation I don't know much about as a result of my own experience. What's most interesting are all of the ways and reasons that medicine and surgery ARE an "imperfect science" -- some are intuitive, some you would probably prefer not to think about.
