Logan Mcrae, V.11 - Blood Road
4 journalers for this copy...
Picked this up with the intention of gifting to another bookcrosser, but they already had it. I suppose I might as well give it a go myself before releasing in that case.
The plot was gripping, with plenty of interesting twists. I was less keen on the characters and the constant negativity with which they portrayed their lives and professional careers, but I guess that's one of the reasons I don't read modern crime novels very often! As HR professional, the descriptions involving attempts to manage the performance of DC Chalmers made my hair stand on end. I REALLY hope that this wasn't an accurate portrayal of management styles within Police Scotland...
Reserved for earthcaroleanne at tomorrow's meetup.
Picked up at the Old Gang Meetup.
