This book is from several crates' worth that I got from New Searles Elementary School, where they were being given away. It features a house mouse who gets accidentally swept outside on a snowy day -just in time to save him from the family cat, although the cat follows him outside and keeps trying to catch him. The mouse has a lot of fun skating and making snow-mice - but gets cold and hungry and bolts back indoors after a while. And then he remembers the friendly birds outside who helped warn him about that cat, and takes some food out for them - new friends!

I left this book in the Little Free Library on this grey day; hope someone enjoys it!
