Two excellent mysteries for Superintendent Wycliffe. As per other later stories, they feature scenes with just the suspects as well as the usual police procedural scenes.
I particularly liked the second story 'The House of Fear' featuring a classic crime trope of a troubled wealthy family in an old country pile and plenty of suspects and red herrings to boot.
