I got this little softcover as part of a box-set of food-related Penguin 60s titles, and was glad of another release copy.
It contains a number of dessert recipes and food-commentary. Some are simple, some more exotic, all quite tempting! From"Quinces Baked in the French Style" to "Lemon Souffle" to "Water-melon Sorbet," it has a lot to offer. (I was especially pleased to find "Queen of Puddings" here, as it featured in an episode of "Great British Baking Show" and looked really good...)
