I got this slim hardcover from an online seller, tickled at the idea of a counting book for kids based on D&D. (I played D&D for decades, and recall some of the more addicted players from back then; one guy was intending to miss his own child's birth in favor of a game, before we talked him into going home, and another gaming couple - both of whom did take time off for the birth! - brought the infant to the next few sessions. I think they'd all have loved this book.]

This book counts from "ONE Dungeon Master" to "when the clock strikes TEN", with charming illustrations showing the kids - and then their in-game characters - having marvelous adventures before falling fast asleep. The images are loaded with lovely D&D-type details, from the classic monsters to the polyhedral dice. Great fun! (There's a bonus section featuring a bestiary of the creatures featured in the story.)
