Based on the title of this book, one could assume the focus is the Taylor-Burton affair. It certainly is part of the story but there is a lot more to this historical fiction than their relationship. This book is a real page turner, and I found it hard to put down! It is also interesting to read the author's notes at the back of the book regarding the making of the film "Cleopatra".
