Wonderful memoir by journalist/CBS Martha Teichner on being a dog lover and that love bringing people together and how some friendships may be short/limited by time and circumstance but are still special and to be treasured. Sending to a bookcrosser who had it on their wish list. Happy reading!

This is a beautiful story about love, friendship and caring. Martha is heartbroken after losing one of her Bull Terriers, so is Minnie her other BT. A Chance meeting puts her in touch with Carol, who is dying and looking for someone to take Harry, her BT, after her demise. A friendship develops between the two women as they hope and try to get the two dogs to be compatible. It is a story of love, between people as well as animals. It is also a story of friendship and the lengths we will go to have that bond.
