I wasn't sure about this one - there seemed to be too many implausible plot turns and the central premise was pretty ludicrous even for the thriller genre. The blurb on the back is rather misleading too. But if you can get past that, it's gripping enough and it does keep you wanting to know what happens.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Released at the York BookCrossing meetup (train themed - there are no trains in this book as far as I can remember).

Releasing to Eagle & Child.
Nowt like the cover, nowt like the synopsis and nowt like any ending I expected or suspected.
This is one of those slow burning books that keeps you guessing right to the very end (either that or I'm very slow or the uptake). This has the advantage that it keeps up your interest but has the disadvantage, in my case, that I got very grrrr waiting for it all to resolve itself.
I'm sure that this book isn't my cup of tea. I only picked it up to take on holiday to read because I knew that I could just leave it on a bench somewhere on the continent when I'd done (not suspecting, of course, that the wife would tell me that she wanted to read it). Anyway, I finished it in the train home so it's all good.
Read this if you have the patience to allow an author to come to the point excruciatingly slowly.

Not one of the most convincing plots I have ever read, but it does keep your attention. Would be a good book to read on a long plane or train journey.
