I got this softcover at Barnes and Noble. I've enjoyed other books by Hall, including Glitterland; looking forward to this one.

Later: this one had a typical rom-com premise - a character needs a perfect fake boyfriend to improve his public image as his father (an aging rock star) attempts a comeback, and makes a deal with a very non-scandalous barrister who has his own reasons for wanting a date for a particular event. The two hit it off despite expectations, but (of course) things don't go smoothly, what with each of them having personal and family issues of their own. The ending is a bit too fast-paced, I feel, but the supportive-but-wacky friends and the ever-delightful banter make up for a lot, as to the obvious facts that the guys are good for each other.
