I'm looking forward to reading this!
Wonderful coming-of-age story set in a changing Japan after WWII. The focus is very narrow, as the heroine Nori has very little exposure to the outside world through most of her life, but you see how her particular life is shaped by people's choices and culture. Definitely a tear-jerker, but worth reading.
