The Illustrated Man

Found this book while on holiday in Northumberland. While out geocaching, we came across a beautiful little free library in Warkworth and this book was sitting and calling to me to read. I love Ray Bradbury. One of my favourite all time writers and yet I don't have a copy of this book. Well, until now!
A stunning collection of short stories by the fabulous Ray Bradbury. My favourites include: Kaleidoscope - about men falling through space to their deaths, The City & Marionettes Inc both of which i better not spoil, Usher2- about a literal recreation of EA Poe's House of Usher, Zero hour-about an alien invasion aided by children. And so many more... I really enjoyed this book so many ideas on how the future might be and astonishing to thinking it was first published in 1952 when so many of the ideas could be written now about the future. Lots of robots and rockets as I guess the age of computers was not foreseen. This book might be a keeper...
