Extremely amusing and covers the diffculty of actually giving up alcohol.
Sending to an old Enid Blyton fan who should enjoy this adult variation.
Postman brought it today and it will be fun to read while I sip my Chardonnay.
The best part of the book were the illustrations which resembled the ones in the original books I read in the 50's. Otherwise I was disappointed. I expected some humour but it was serious. Well, their childhood adventures were all serious too. This is NOT for children but for young adults to look at their indulgences which could be hard to give up…… (I's too late for us old drunkards :-) )

‘Maybe you’ve been hitting it a bit hard over the Christmas period?’ suggested George.
‘No more than usual,’ he replied – a statement that gave them less assurance than he thought.
The perfect gift for anyone attempting Dry January and failing badly.
