Found whilst looking for Wishlist books in an Op Shop during a day trip to the country. Perfect timing with LadyIndigo having just been tagged. It was not until I got home that I saw it was an “Uncorrected proof for promotional use only/ not for resale”, lucky I only paid $3 for it!

Edit 7/4 on it’s way to Orange today.

sadly this was mcgahan's final novel - he died too young and with much promise

i don't mind it being an uncorrected proof - i've been reading them all year - there are plenty of editing misses in 'corrected' publications - proofs are as close as they can be to the final product
