Join the day-to-day life of Gladys, a loveable, busybody widow, who raises chicken and a rooster within the city limits. Gladys’s antics had me laughing as she struggles to learn newfangled technology, such as the Interweb and Mrs. Google, and as she vehemently denies that she is going on a date with her neighbor of 25 years, Mr. Johnson.
The heartwarming feeling I had while reading this story reminded me a lot of how I felt when reading the classic Mrs. ‘arris Goes to Paris. I just loved both of these characters who reminded me of my quirky aunt .
