Hidden History of New Hampshire

I got this softcover at a local Savers thrift shop. It touches on a wide variety of historical and cultural tidbits with ties to New Hampshire, many of them already known to me but some an interesting surprise. I've visited quite a few of the locations here, including Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge and the Saint-Gaudens site in Cornish; and I've added a few places to my want-to-visit list.
Among the cultural tidbits - I already knew that New Hampshire was the home of the famed Concord Coach, thanks to the NH-author anthology Live Free or Ride: Tales of the Concord Coach, but I hadn't known that NH also has the oldest professional summer theater in the country. There's an entry about the Nashua Dodgers, the first integrated baseball team - indeed, there's a mural of Roy Campanella and Don Newcombe at one of the downtown intersections.
And the book includes more recent firsts: Alan Shepard, the first American in space, was from NH.
