I waited to read this book until after I watched the movie because I always get annoyed at all the changes that are made when books are made into movies. The main difference between this book and the movie adaptation is that the movie focuses on one case of a wrongfully convicted man on death row. The book discusses many other cases (although there is one that is the main focus). The sheer number of cases is frustrating and infuriating. It takes a lot of inner strength to face cases like this day after day, so the author is to be commended for that (in addition to his tireless work trying to help so many people). This book was one of those rare examples of a book that is both inspiring and emotionally draining. Well worth reading.
