FOL Hawaii Kai. Lighthearted "advice" book about enjoying life more like a dog. The advice is basic: Live in the Present, Try to Have Fun, Happiness is not Dependent on Things, etc., but it's fleshed out with typical Barry observations and commentary. My favorite was a description of Carl Hiaasen joining the self-acknowledged terrible writers' rock band Barry plays in, the Rock Bottom Remainders, for a session after taking guitar lessons. Fun read if you like Barry's silly style, though I do worry that he is an alcoholic due to the sheer amount of times he mentions drinking and the degree he claims to be impaired. Maybe it's just a part of his shtick, but it does reduce reading enjoyment for me.
